The Portland Trailblazers have agreed to trade Damian Lillard in a 3-team deal including the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Doug thinks this trade is great for all parties involved while the Miami Heat get nothing but sour grapes. It’s a tough pill for the Heat to swallow as they were the obvious front-runners to acquire Lillard all summer long.
Doug Gottlieb: “The loser in this thing is the Miami Heat, don’t get it twisted...It’s a heck of an F/U to Miami who kind of walked around arrogantly all offseason thinking; we got Damian Lilliard, it’s just a case of when, not if.”
