NFLPA Team Report Cards Mean Nothing

There is a huge buzz about the Kansas City Chiefs landing at #31 of 32 teams in the NFLPA’s second annual team report cards as voted on by the players and Doug Gottlieb dives deep into the grades and breaks down what it all means: absolutely nothing. We all know the truth is that players are making choices based on which team will pay them the most or will help them win a championship. The idea that these grades have any impact on winning is belied by the Chiefs consistent success.

Doug Gottlieb: “Yes, trainers matter, coaches matter, relationships matter, but so does how much you’re going to get paid...Most guys go where they’re going to make the most money, then they go where they’re going to win.”
